The Rovo toggle in the "Create Jira work items" panel re-enables itself after being turned off, making the feature unusable.
We have custom fields which we need to populate in JIRA based on the Confluence document, but Rovo does not know which to feed the JIRA cards. So - when pulling in the JIRA work items, the 'use Rovo to generate summary and description' toggle must be disabled. Disabling the feature is not working, as every time I attempt to disable, the panel reloads and the toggle is back to 'enabled'.
Hi @Derek Benner I suspect this could be a bug, and suggest reporting it to Atlassian support. I created a page containing a 4 column table to test the workflow you described, and I encountered the exact same behavior. I tried while selecting the entire table, a single row, a single cell, changing the Jira space, and changing the work type. In all cases, after toggling off "Use Rovo to generate summary and description", the panel would refresh and that toggle would be toggled back on.
If you want to disable Rovo in Confluence, then this needs to be done within the admin.atlassian.com on your instance.
An Org admin will need to do this.

Thanks Marc - unfortunately we don't want to disable Rovo - we want to use the toggle to enable/disable it in this particular circumstance (this used to work).
See the flow below
First - I toggled to not use Rovo to generate
Then, Confluence thought about it and reloaded the panel...
Then, it reloaded the panel and did not save my selection - it just reverted the change and kept the toggle 'enabled'.

Can you outline the steps you are taking? As I select a Confluence page and use this Rovo action, I don't see this toggle, but it could be that the space I use is default

Sure - I have a table in my confluence page with 4 columns - I highlight the columns and select 'Create JIRA Work Items'. This is what pops the panel as you see in my screenshots above.
The issue is that 'Use Rovo to generate summary and description' is auto-enabled. I can live with that....if it behaved when I toggled it to disable. Toggling it to disable gets me to the 'Generating...' screen on the panel (screenshot above). But when it 'generates' or reloads - as you can see, the toggle is back to being enabled. So, I unfortunately can't use the 'create JIRA work items' function at all, as Rovo being enabled in this instance blocks me from create the JIRA work items in the right manner.

I tried this as well, and I still don't see this option. I created a table, published the pages, selected all text in table and asked Rovo to create Jira items.
It just gives me 4 issue to create
In my previous comment I just selected some text on a page and I don't get this message as well.
Is it not related to the setup of the issue types in Jira?
