How to restrict a group to their own Confluence space

Question

I should know this, but I need to be sure about this.  I have a new group in Confluence - they are contractors; I need to restrict their access to their own space and only their own space.  I can create a new group and assign that group to their space, but I need to keep them from seeing anything else.  This is Confluence Cloud.

What are the steps to make this happen?

Hi @Randy O'Neal

* Create a new group, say Contractors.
* Add contractors to Contractors group.
* Remove contractors from any other group and check if individual contractors don't have individual permissions in specific spaces.
* Give Contractors group your preferred permission setup in the contractors' space.
* When adding a new contractor user, only assign them to the Contractors group.
