I am creating a bunch of templates for different types of documentation like Technical Review Reports. I have a date field and a username field which are currently occupied by placeholder text relating to the formatting of the date and "@username".
Is there a way these things can be auto-filled so that the user creating the template does not have to type all that information?
I would like the date to be filled with the current date and the username to be filled by whoever changes that document.
A picture is attached below for reference
You can't do this using a template, but you can with a custom blueprint.
Blueprints allow you to inject custom variables when creating a new page based on a blueprint.
But not without entering them, right?
I try to create a page on buttom click... Page should be created and current dateand creator should be filled in a page propertie without any further clicks or does...
