Hi,
I'm trying to add a google analytics tag to a page on confluence but I can't see any tools to embed the code within the page. I don't want to use paid extensions or plugins. Would adding an iframe with javascript be detected by Google?
Thanks.
Regards,
Rajeev
Hi @Rajeev Desai ,
you could try some external app for that like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216936/google-analytics-in-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
Hope this helps,
Fabio
Hey Fabio,
Thanks for your reply.
I don't want to use paid apps or plugins. Is there another way to do it?

Rajeev

I had the same issue and ended up working with a digital analytics agency that helped me set up custom tracking using Google Tag Manager. They added page-specific triggers and events inside Confluence without needing an add-on. It took a bit of testing, but now I get more detailed data on how users interact with individual pages. Made a big difference in understanding what content was being read.
