I tried to login to my confluence to access my portfolio that I spent countless hours building. I had dozens of work samples that I altered to hide sensitive information and no copies of them. Now when I try to access them I see the error message above and all the pages are gone when I log into my account.
I found an email on December 24th stating "Your subscription is being deactivated due to inactivity" and since I didn't log in by 01.01.26 all my information was deleted.
This is an absurd way to go about this - having only 2 emails over the 1 week around Christmas with no other warning.
Now I'm finding I don't even have the option to speak to a support agent since I'm on the free plan.
Someone please help me restore my lost pages.
@Danielle Syvertsen welcome to the Atlassian community
I have escalated to Atlassian support so they can see if they can restore your account data. If it has been deleted, then they will not be able to recover it. I believe your data is retained for 60 days after deactivation.
Adding to this...
In the email that says the deactivation is happening is there another part of the message that says to cont Atlassian ASAP and includes a "contact us" link?
If so, if you click that link what site is displayed? I ask because while only paying customers are able to open cases through https:/support.atlassian.com/contact/ ,those deactivation emails, for the Jira product at least, usually contain a "contact us" link that goes directly to the contact page for the Billing, Licensing, Pricing Support team. Through that page anybody can submit a question related to those topics, and this would fall within the bounds of Licensing .

@Trudy Claspill I was able to submit via the contact us link in the email.
@Brant Schroeder thank you for escalating to support - please let me know next steps.
