Hi All,

I have a question regarding "Gliffy - Mind map".

I have lots of child nodes for a subtopic, each child node have further child nodes. E.g. a big

Now All I want to do is to move around the child nodes between sub topics. Now, I can do that by simply connect the child node to new subtopic but this new parent (subtopic) does not treat it as its child node. When I move this subtopic it doesn't move all the shapes, when I collapse this subtopic it does not collapse these new attached child nodes. The only way to get around is to create something from scratch which is very time consuming and annoying.

Wondering if anyone have any workaround or solution to that ?

Thanks

RM

Hello @Rahul Mathur

I am the Solutions Engineer at Gliffy and wanted to check in on whether you had reached out to our tech team directly yet, or if I could help facilitate a conversation on what is expected behavior of the Mindmap feature.

Please let me know if I can help because my gut tells me you do need to create from scratch, but once you do, you will be able to use that diagram as a template for the future and just change the text as needed because the diagram will be in the structure you want going forward.

Thank you for being a Gliffy customer!
