Hello,

We have a Free / Trial account of Confluence (and Jira) that has 2FA disabled, by choice.  However, when logging into the instance, we are still prompted for a second factor code sent via email.  Is there any way to disabled this as well?

Thanks,

Hi @Swirl Build Services , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post.

Have you already gone through the steps in the documentation here https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-two-step-verification-for-your-atlassian-account/ to disable the two factor authentication?

Hi @Valerie Knapp ,

Yes I'm familiar with that document.  And @2FA is indeed disabled for this account.  Here's a screenshot from Account Settings > Security:

Despite this, we are still required to enter a second factor code sent by EMAIL, oddly, each time we login with this account.
