Defaulting Guests to "Collaborator" not "Viewer" role

Has anyone found a neat way (or am I missing an obvious setting 😂) to add guests as Collaborators rather than Viewers? When I add guests to our site I always want them able to edit and doing it 1 by 1 is a pain. 

Also going to look at Rovo/Automation as next step but would love any experience shares :)

Use a “Guest Collaborators”

Create a group like guest-collaborators

Grant that group Collaborator in the relevant space(s)

When inviting guests, add them to that group (can be bulk-managed)

That's a no @Kit Friend 😅

There are these two feature requests:

• CONFCLOUD-76845: Ability to set default space permissions for guests > apparently, this was changed to 'Viewers' by default back in 2024
• CONFCLOUD-74916: Allow guest groups to be assigned to spaces > this would be neat 

As you said, the best bet would be to build some kind of automation for it. 👀
