Confluence whiteboards limitations on Standard plan

From the email I received,

Board limits: you will have access to three active whiteboards per user (unlimited whiteboards are available on Premium and Enterprise plans).

I am unclear for the term per user. Let's say, we have 2 users. Each of them created 3 whiteboards, so the total are 6 whiteboards. After the transition, how many whiteboards remain active?

I believe the 6 will remain active. I'm not sure about future pricing plans for Confluence Whiteboards, but if you could ask billing questions here:
