Confluence API returns error on a particular request

The request: GET https://...//rest/api/content?expand=childTypes.all

The response:

  "statusCode": 500,
  "message": "java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot call entrySet() on collapsed object, ensure the property was included in the expansions on the original service request"
}

That's pretty much it. I'm aware this API is deprecated but there's no warning on the dev doc site not to use this particular query parameter value. Other "expand" values work fine AFAIK. Any help appreciated.

I can reproduce your issue, I suggest to raise this at Atlassian Support.

Could you tell me how to do that? I went through some kind of "choose your issue" menu when looking for help in Confluence UI and that's how I got here. I thought there's no support for non-paying users.

If you are using a free plan you are not eligible for support.

This is stated in the terms, you can do a work around. Start a 14 trail and then submit a request.

Then switch you plan back to the free plan.

Thank you, the procedure you outlined worked for me. I created a ticket with the support. Hopefully they will have something for me. I'll come back here and post an update when there's a definitive resolution one way or another.

@Marc -Devoteam-the issue was resolved. Apparently it was some internal incident. I will mark this as the answer since it helped me.
