Comparing two different pages content for diff

Ian MacDonald

Hello!

We are looking for a method to evaluate two pages content against one another and generate a diff between the two.

I have explored using automation, but I have been unable to find a way to do what we need. I am willing to explore apps if they provide this functionality, but have come up empty in my searches.

Has anyone else had a business need for this and solved? I am very interested in hearing possible solutions/ideas.

Thank you in advance!

@Ian MacDonald In addition to the suggestion from @Kristian Klima, you could export each page to Word and then use the compare feature in Word.

Hi @Ian MacDonald

A crazy workaround would be to

  1. create a third page.
  2. copy contents of page A into it, then save.
  3. Open page A, replace the existing content with content from page B, then save.
  4. Compare the two page versions...
