Why Jira is not storing test steps

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I just realized that Jira is not storing modifications/new test steps in my "Test Case" issues, this made me loose a few hours of work.
For example, below I add a new test step, I hit "Save", I refresh the page and the new test step is gone, the info has been lost. Is this a bug?
