Hi @Aaron Pavez _ServiceRocket_ , thanks for your help.
For the historic, I apply but my firm is not ready to be Solution partner due to our size and not enough certified person.

So the question is : do I need to be certified first ? With which tool ? And then do we need to have client already using Atlassian product before becoming partner ?

I'm a bit lost cause I don't know where to begin, knowing we have work to do before re applying in 6 months...

Hello @Irina

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Using Google to search for atlassian solution partner requirements I found this link:

https://www.atlassian.com/dam/jcr%3A6663243e-57a0-40fc-af63-e99ff9edcdf5/PartnerBrochure.pdf

The document doesn't have a date on it, though, so I don't know if it is current.

I have not been able to find any more details yet online and publicly available about the requirements your company must meet to become a solution partner.

As an individual I have not tried to become a Solution Partner so I don't know the details of the process from personal experience.

Certifications are helpful to demonstrating that your consultants know the Atlassian products. There is free on-demand training from https://university.atlassian.com. There are Learning Paths detailed there for achieving different certifications.

Partners have an additional, separate Accreditation requirement. The path to attaining those is available only from the Atlassian Enablement Academy, which I believe is accessible only to Partners, so I don't think those are a prerequisite to becoming a partner, but I am not sure. The Accreditations affect the Partner Level your company can attain.

I hope that information proves useful.

You may want to try the Contact Us option available on the Atlassian site to see if you can get in contact with them directly for more information on how to pursue becoming a partner.

Hi Irina, I’m also curious about this. I did some digging on Google and found these links that might be helpful:

1. This document explains the program levels, requirements, and benefits:

https://www.atlassian.com/dam/jcr%3A6663243e-57a0-40fc-af63-e99ff9edcdf5/PartnerBrochure.pdf

2. This link shows some videos at the bottom about being a partner:

https://www.atlassian.com/partners/join

3. I also found this article from a solution partner that explains this all together in detail:

https://deviniti.com/blog/customer-it-service/why-its-smart-to-work-with-an-atlassian-partner-while-implementing-atlassian-solutions/

I hope this helps!
