Welcome Wednesday: Training, Certifications & Designations! (Oh my!)

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

In case you missed the official announcement, Designations are now LIVE! What does this mean? If you previously held or were looking to earn the title of “Atlassian Certified Expert“ that no longer exists. Instead, it has been replace with three new designations to earn (with more coming soon).

If you have continued to earn your certifications (and kept them active with renewal activity) you might have already earn one or more of these new designations. I love how much easier it is to understand what you need to do to earn a designation now.

So, my question for you this week: Have you earned any designations already? If so, which one(s)? If not, what one are you working towards next?

Personally, I have already earned the Atlassian Certified Administration Expert, and I will be working to complete the Atlassian Certified ITSM Specialist next.

@Jimmy Seddon I haven't done any of the certifications yet, just the courses so I'm going to start with easy ones:

• ACA-JSWE Jira Essentials

• ACA-ACF Cloud Foundations

At some point, I suppose I'll have to get the Agile DevOps Certified Specialist designation.

Hi @Jimmy Seddon, thanks so much for bringing this topic to Welcome Wednesday! I have earned no certifications yet BUT I have a goal to take the ITSM with JSM Foundations ACA exam and the Managing Jira Service Projects for Cloud ACP exam by end of next year. And the knowledge and willingness to share in this Community is such a gift when studying for these exams!
