if its my workspace and i have multiple boards that my team have access to and make changes to cards.... if i pay my subscription, is it only me that will be able to make changes from now on, and the members will only be able to view now?
do they need to have a subscription to make changes to the cards? and move them about boards?
seems a bit mental to have to pay for that.
@Stephen Moffatt Upgrades apply to the entire Workspace rather than an individual user. So, everyone in the Workspace will be able to continue using the Workspace normally after it's upgraded.
Whether or not a member or guest in that Workspace is billable depends on these criteria:
We have some more info on how this works here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/how-billing-works-with-trello-premium-and-standard/
Hello @Stephen Moffatt
I understand your frustration.
I am not familiar with this update. Do you have a link to it? Everyone on the board should be able to make changes, unless there are permissions that prevent some users to make changes on the board.

I see:
Starting April 8, 2024: If your free Trello Workspace already has 10 or more collaborators, you won’t be able to add new collaborators to the Workspace, unless you upgrade your plan or reduce the number of collaborators to below the limit.
Starting May 20, 2024: If your free Trello Workspace has more than 10 collaborators, the boards in this Workspace will become view-only. You’ll be able to see all the boards in the Workspace but won’t be able to make changes, unless you upgrade your plan or reduce the number of collaborators to below the limit.
It is not precisely stated if you need the subscription in order to make the changes - this is for the first date.
Second date indicates that board will be set to read-only - meaning no changes can be made.
