Why can't we switch accounts during existing account onboarding?

Wanted to rebuild some pinned tabs I lost.

  1. Loaded a Jira board on one account and pinned it.
  2. Opened a new tab.
  3. Went to my Trello board's URL and was presented with the "looks like it's your first time..." page.

From here, it is impossible to change your account and login as you want to.

I had to log out of the Jira account, refresh the Trello tab, login to the account I wanted, then return to the Jira tab, let it kick me out, then switch account, and finally login again.

This is absurd! You are ridiculous, Atlassian!

 

[Ctrl+V on this form places the pasted text at the end of the textarea, instead of where my cursor is. Using the browser's context menu works fine. This has been a bug for over 6 months. Get your shit together Atlassian!]

Hmm, that does sound strange. Can you please confirm if your Trello account is linked to the same email address as your Jira account?

If it's a different email address, it's expected that you would need to switch accounts or log out. 

It may help to add your second account to the account switcher to easily switch between accounts. More on that in these articles:
