Trello Email-to-board not working properly

Hi Trello community. When I try to send an email to a Trello board (using the 'share and more' and then 'email for this card'), the email appears on the card, but I cannot see any of the content of the email - only my email signature. Please help as this is very frustrating. Thanks.

Is it forwarded content, or content that you typed in the email? 

Forwards and replies likely won't include the forwarded text and any nested reply text in the description of the card. They sometimes will, but it shouldn't be expected.  

As a workaround, you can copy the relevant text that you want to show up in the card description and put it in the main body of the email.
