Teams. Mandatory?

Hello! I just started an account with Trello and it made me create a team name and I don't know why I'd be doing that yet. I just want to create a vision board. Is there a way around this? Thank you for any help you can offer.

Teams are not mandatory. If you are new in Trello I would suggest to see some youtube videos in Trello channel to learn a bit how Trello works.

May I ask what do you mean with vision board? What is your purpose?
