Hello!

It recently has come to my attention that someone, by the name of "Juli Hudson" (formerly Bates) uses Trello as a way to store characters that she's selling and one of my characters is on there!

I've bought the character "Socks" fair and square from the original artist. To keep it short: Juli broke said artists ToS and artist had right to get character back. Then I bought.

I did ask Juli to delete this character yet she outright refuses to, saying the character was never sold. (She's a known scammer in the Furry community and does this A LOT)

Is there anything I can do?

Hi Sammy,

Thanks for reaching out.

Atlassian takes the rights of intellectual property owners very seriously and complies as a service provider with all applicable provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). Our policy is to respond to the valid notices of alleged infringement we receive according to the DMCA by expeditiously removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material and terminating users, when appropriate, according to our repeat infringer policy.

You can find information about Trello's DMCA policy at https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/marketplace/knowledge-base/my-copyright-has-been-infringed-and-i-want-to-issue-a-takedown-notice/.

This policy describes the steps copyright owners should take if they believe that their copyrights have been infringed by third-party content placed on Trello, and this is the best resource for you to take action.

You can also view our Acceptable Use Policy, where there are reporting guidelines if content violates or infringes Atlassian’s or a third party’s intellectual property or other rights.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, and we'll be happy to help.

All the best,

Lara
