Hello everyone~!

Despite searching Trello's FAQ, guides, and community, it's only explained that after April 8th, it will be impossible to add members or guests if the collaborator limit exceeds 10.

So, what restrictions will be imposed on workspaces and boards exceeding 10 collaborators after April 8th? I've summarized the questions below. Please provide detailed explanations about any changes occurring after April 8th, even if they're not mentioned in the questions.

  1. Will there be any changes in using workspace, board, card, and activity functions? If so, how will they change?

  2. Will charges be automatically applied to members and guests exceeding 10, i.e., will they be automatically converted to standard or premium?

  3. If the number of members exceeds 10 on a board or workspace and is not reduced to 10, will the current features being used in the free version be restricted? Or will the account be suspended?

  4. Also, exactly from what time on April 8th will the new regulations take effect? Will it be based on Korean time or U.S. time?

  5. In a workspace where the current total collaborators are 71, if no more members or guests are added after April 8th, will it still be possible to use the features as they are until May 20th when it transitions to view-only mode?

  6. The image below indicates that a 30-day free trial of Trello Premium (no credit card required) is available on April 8th. However, I already used the premium 14-days free trial in 2022. Can I still receive the 30-day free trial in this case?

If anyone has knowledge about the above content, please provide a response. Thank you
very much for reading until the end.

Hi @이재민

Welcome to Atlassian Community! 🙂

From April 8 you won't notice any changes to your boards themselves but if the workspace your boards are in has 10 or more collaborators then you won't be able to invite any new collaborators to your boards or the workspace.

However, from May 20, if your workspace still has more than 10 collaborators then the boards in your workspace will being view only so you'll be able to access them but won't be able to make any changes to the cards in them.

With both the changes happening on April 8 and May 20, you can have more collaborators in your workspace by upgrading your workspace as all our Paid plans allow an unlimited number of collaborators in a workspace.

Or if you're wanting to keep using Trello on our free plan you can use the steps here to bring your workspace inline with the limit to allow you to edit your boards again - If you're wanting to invite new collaborators while you're on our Free plan then you'll need to make sure your workspace has less than 10 collaborators.

You won't be charged automatically for any of your workspaces, you'd only be charged if you signed up to one of our Paid plans. You can compare our Paid plans and the features available with them here - https://trello.com/pricing

You can also find out which accounts you'd need to pay for with our Premium and Standard plans here - https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/how-billing-works-with-trello-premium-and-standard/

The 30-day free trial will be available for you even if you've already had another free trial in your workspace. 🙂 This will become available later today when the limit is applied
