We have a board with only two members and I am the admin. Any changes that I make to cards and lists on the board are shown to be performed by the other member of the board. If the other member makes any changes, no notification is created, but if automation makes a change on the board, that person is identified in the notification. We would like to have accurate changelog information. Do we have something setup incorrectly?
Hi @Jim Brown - welcome to the Community.
When someone sets up an automation, and that automation then is triggered, the Activity log will show the actions as having been performed by the person who set up the automation. If you want the Activity log to instead show that you performed the action, you would need to set up the automations on your account.
Thank you for your response, Alex. I am the one that set up the automations. However, the other person on the board is always identified as the one that performed the actions via Notifications. It would be great if the log would simply read "Butler set due date..." Is there any other setting that assigns ownership and/or board membership that I can use to manipulate the feedback?
I do see where the information appears to be correct under the Activity Log. Can I turn off Notifications and replace those messages with Activity Messages on my connected devices? That is really the information we want to see.

"Is there any other setting that assigns ownership and/or board membership that I can use to manipulate the feedback?" - I'm not sure what you mean by this.
You can customise or turn off your email notifications completely if you so choose. You can learn more at https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/receiving-trello-notifications/
