Hello! I work in digital marketing, and we just hired a VA to help our CEO manage tasks that come in from emails and coaching calls. The VA is going to review the call notes and emails and create Trello cards when necessary.
I want the VA to run a report at the end of each day, sending all the cards created for the day to the CEO. Then the CEO can review what was added, better assess what is coming up, and ensure that the VA added things correctly.
Any recommendations on how we can make this happen? Bonus points if whatever report we end up generating has the links to the Trello cards for my CEO to click.
Thanks!
Dana
Hello Dana,
Implementing an efficient system for your VA to report daily on Trello cards created from call notes and emails is a great strategy to keep your CEO updated. Here’s my list of what can help:
Use Trello’s built-in automation tool to automate the reporting process. You can set up a rule that at a specific time each day, Butler compiles a list of all cards created that day with the specific label and posts a report in a designated board.
There are some power-ups like Planyway that can export data to the Excel or PDF file. Just filter the data if needed and set the right date range, then simply export. Here is more about Export.
