Limit Linking of Cards to Only that Board

I am using the Power Up SubTasks to link cards together. We use this to manage our project lifecycle of IT implementations. We have a card for each phase of our project. So, you can imagine that we have many projects with the same card name (Ie - Blueprint, Build, etc). When I go to link the card as a sub-task, I get cards from ALL boards, not just the board I'm in. This seems like incredibly basic functionality, so I am assuming that I am missing something. Any ideas on how to fix this? (And yes, our team members need access to multiple project boards).

I checked here and SubTasks is a 3rd party Power-Up, so we are not familiar, as this Power-Up isn't developed or managed by us.
