Hi there.
Is there a way to show a Trello-created attachment on the front of its card?
Detail:
Inside my card is a Trello Attachment, which is a snapshot of a Trello board. This is created by using the paperclip/Attachment button, selecting the Trello heading, then a board.
Is there a way to show this Trello attachment on the front of the card?
Note that I'm not talking about a normal 'paperclip' attachment - which provides the 'Make Cover' button, but the Trello-created attachment, shown in the image above.
Many thanks, Richard
Hi @Ric Hardford, indeed, the feature you're looking for is called a Link card.
https://help.trello.com/article/1256-link-cards
To get a Link card, you have to create or rename the card using the exact URL of your board. New cards will transform into that same thumbnail in your screenshot and clicking on the thumbnail will open the board. If you rename an existing card, it won't automatically become a Link card so you'll need to right-click the card from the board view and click the button to convert it to a Link board card.
Cards with a description, label, custom field filled in, attachment etc. cannot become a Link card. You'd need to remove all the content from the card (except comments), or create a new card (preferred).
Ahh, I see :)
Thanks a stack Artemis, exactly what I was looking for.
Richard
