How do I add a trello board to slack?

I am a member of a Trello Board that I would like to add to my Slack Workspace (but I don't want to join the workspace of the owner of the Trello Board). Is there a way just to add the board? Thanks!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I hope you're enjoying Trello!

Only Workspace admins will be able to connect the Slack app to Trello Workspace. So if you are not a member of the same Slack workspace as the Trello Workspace admin, then you will not be able to add the board to Slack.

If the Trello Workspace is already linked to the Slack workspace, then you will be able to add the board to Slack by typing the command /trello link [board url] in Slack.
