Downgrade from Premium to Standard and adding more users

We have paid Premium plan for 20 people and it is paid Yearly. 
The plan will end in 02/2025. 

Since the new rules are becoming active from May 20th 2024 we would like to:

• downgrade the Preimum plan to Standard
• add another 40 users (now free) to the Standard plan so all of our 60 users are in the same Workspace

Can we do this? 
What happens with the Premium plan and the 20 users for which we already have paid the Preimum? 
Will all the users be switched to Standard and charged at the rate for Standard?

Hi Neven, if you downgrade to Standard, that Workspace will fully remain on Premium until February, so any new members you add will have access to the Workspace's Premium features and will be billed at the Premium price. This will be prorated, so you won't be paying for a full year of Premium for them, just until next February. Then, in February, it will switch to Standard instead of Premium, and the charge for the renewal will be for Standard.

I was curious if it might be more cost-effective to create a brand be Workspace with Standard for all 60 people and move all of the boards there. However, when you considered that the 40 new members will be prorated for Premium, it works out to be the same.
