When trying to login to the Mac OSX app for Trello I enter my Gmail and password. Then hit next and get the following message:

Try using a different browser. If you’re already using a supported browser, you can refresh your screen and try again to sign in.
"
Now I resolved it by clicking the "Forgotten Password" link and setting a new password. Even though I logged in with my Google ID before.
Google wants you to update your browser in order for you to use SSO with the Trello app. Updating Chrome, relaunching Trello Mac app fixed the issue for me.

I have seen a number of folks raising this issue. I would suggest raising a request directly with Atlassian Support and please consider commenting back here once you have an answer.
