Can you set up automatic timelines in Trello?

I am looking to have an automatic timeline in Trello when I make a new board. 

I am a project assistant who uses the boards for project managing but every time I start a new board I'm unable to select a new date and align all the cards with the project plan 

I want it so when I start a new board with a template I am able to to select the new date and the cards will automatically align with my project plan timeline 

Any advice or way to do this without having to go in and edit the dates each time?

Have not tried it but here's a suggestion

Have a control card with a start/due date. Set a trigger "when due/start date is moved in"...etc, collect all cards with due/start date...etc, for each card in checklist....move the due/satrt date by the same amount of time.
