Can I have my team members be able to comment and vote (power-up) but not create or move cards?

As a part of the product team, I've connected a Google Form to Trello via Zapier and want our internal teams to submit feature requests through there. Since the custom fields power-up can't be searched, it's sort of useless for us. 

The Google Form populates a number of fields for us into a card in our feature request board: 

"Reporter: 
Type of Customer:
Name of Customer: 
Time of Request: 

Description: "

I want to prevent our team members from creating and moving cards in Trello.

BUT, I want to let them vote and comment on cards. 

Is that possible?

Hey Calvin

If you have a board associated with a team, there are some changes you can make on that particular board that will allow team members to only view, comment or vote.

First, make sure that the board is set to "team visible" and not "private".

Then, go to the board settings.  Make the following changes:

• Commenting permissions: team members
• Add/remove permissions: admins
• Uncheck allow team members to join

Now, enable the voting power up (if you haven't already) and change the voting settings to "team members"

With all of these settings in place, the team members will be able to see the board in the team page, they will be able to view the board but they won't be able to change anything.  They will be able to comment and they will be able to vote.

Thanks for the quick answer. It doesn't seem to work the way you've described. I have members in both 'Team Members" and "Non-Team Members" and had them test seeing the "+Add another Card" and move cards between columns and they still can.

You have the requirements right:

I want team members and/or non-team members to be able to:
- View the board

- Comment

- Vote (via Power-Up)

I want team members and/or non-team members to NOT be able to:

- +Add Another Card

- Move cards from one column to another

- Delete Cards

- Create or remove columns
