I created a workspace for a nonprofit group, now I'm taking a step back and would like to leave the workspace for them to use. Is it possible for me to assign another admin and then remove the workspace for me? Will it still be accessible for them?
You can do this.
1) Click Invite Workspace members and add the member handle or email address
2) Once they are in the workspace members list, select Normal and change that to Admin
3) Once they are set to admin click leave against your username to leave the workspace
