What is the use of due dates on each item in a checklist? Can they send me email reminders before the item is due? I'm trying to make a way to get multiple reminders on one card. Will this be my solution? If I make a checklist of different items then when each one is going to be due, will I get an email reminder?

Right now, it's not possible to assign multiple people to a checklist item. I definitely understand how this could be helpful, so I've flagged this as a feature request with the product team.
For now, it'd be best to create multiple checklist items and assign those members to each of those.
