Can I assign a card to an observer?

I'd like to assign every card on a board so that I can visualize where these cards are within my wider team. I don't need them to be able to make changes or have access to any wider Trello features as I'll be managing the board and the cards myself.

Is it possible to invite and add an observer to a card? I can then use the dashboard to view where my cards are within my team.
