If my Trello username or email is known by many strangers, either I was selected randomly in the members invitation searchbox by someone, they add me to boards just for fun.
So I will be disturbed by many useless invitations and boards.
How to solve this problem?
Thanks
Hi Steven,
Trello is set up to allow users to collaborate with minimal interruptions. At this point it is possible to add a current Trello user to a board without that user confirming membership. When adding a member by name or username, suggestions will be made from the list of all users, but no member will be able to see your email.
Your member profile is public. That includes your full name as provided to Trello, username, profile picture, and bio, but not your email. If you’d like to read more about our privacy policy, it’s available here: https://trello.com/privacy
We are looking into other ways to make the invitation feature more secure in the future, while still making it easy for teams to collaborate. For now, we'd suggest leaving the board:
Leaving a board in Trello.
That will remove you from the board completely, and you won’t be seen in the members section any more, or receive any notifications about the board. If you like, you can also change your account information at https://trello.com/your/account.
