Access to a Company's Trello as a Freelancer

I am looking for how to get access to my company's Trello boards, but here's the catch. I used to work for this company on their payroll, so I set up these boards with my company email. I no longer work under their payroll, but instead work for them as a freelance social media consultant. I still need access to these boards, but I no longer have my company email. 

The manager has tried to invite me onto these boards with my new business gmail, but it won't allow me access without a company email. I DO have an Atlassian account with this gmail by the way. 

What do I do? These boards have months of content ideas outlined on them, and I need access to those ideas.

Brooke, it could be that your company Admin has restricted sharing access to only users on the company domain email. The admin will have to either remove those restrictions or give you a new email address under the company domain (many companies often give contractors a company email address for precisely managing their access to corporate systems).
