One of my Jira project has more than 1,000 issues. New issue created is not displaying due to the 1,000 issues limitation. Is there any way for me to hide older issues so the newly created issues can be displayed?
Appreciate if anyone can provide a solution on my issue.
Hello @Allan Koay Hun Guan
Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project?
Are you working with a Business/Work Management project, Software project, or Service project?
Is your board a Scrum Board or a Kanban Board?
If this is a Business/Work Management project then there is a change request to allow changing the limit.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JWMCLOUD-23
The work around, as stated in the change request, is to use a Software project instead.
I am working on a company managed project and Jira Work Management. My board is a Kanban board. I understand the limitation of displaying the issues on first in first out basis. I just need to know if there is a way for me to hide the older issues so the newly created issues are able to be displayed.

No, there is not. That is why the work around is to use a Software project instead. With a Software project the limit is 5000 issues and you can modify the board filter to specify which issues will be displayed.

Thanks for information. I will try to use Jira Software.
