Unable to Make Quoted Text into Headers & Other Syntax Things
It is really bothering me, and I swear I cannot be the only one this is bothering, that is really hating some of the recent changes that have been made to the editor? Particularly the syntax?
A small snippet of one of my cards. That used to be in header 2. Now I can't do anything about it, and I can't get it back INTO a header because - OH NO! It's a quote! You can't header quotes now! Why? Because we don't want you to! What was that? We USED to let you? TOO BAD, SUCKER!
This isn't even the worst of it, in my opinion.
What was wrong with the old line break syntax? was --- not GOOD enough for you? Was it not SIMPLE enough for you, was forming a line NOT clear enough?
AND WHAT
THE HELL
IS THIS
FOR HEADERS? Seriously?! THIS is how we're doing headers now? An arbitrary number of lines? What happened to #Header 1? ##Header 2? ###Header 3??? Anyone else would see this BLOATS the character count absurdly high, for something as simple as BASIC SYNTAX. It was COMPLETELY unnecessary to change.
I was willing to put up with them removing the old editor; extensions are out there to bring back the legacy editor, although with some setbacks, which allows me to continue my workflow mostly in peace. Until a NEW, harebrained update RUINS the syntax on POSSIBLY HUNDREDS OF MY CARDS SIMULTANEOUSLY BECAUSE I WANT THEM TO LOOK GOOD.
This is incredibly rant-y. I am incredibly annoyed. I have no workarounds, and it is irritating to see this happen when I finally get out of a block and ready to actually work on some of my personal card projects, only to see them crumble to dust the moment I open them.
