We have created automation like when client create card from their board, it will automatically copied and created to main board TO DO LIST, but the when client comments is not sync to main board TO DO LIST card.
It would be great If we get the solution like how can we sync the comments of client board to main board?
In automation there is an option of cascade but there is no option for the comments.
Firstly, when you do this, you need to make sure that the copy card command has the "and link the cards together" option enabled.
The automation to sync comments will be:
when a comment is posted in a card, find the first card linked in attachments and post comment "{commenttext}"
You can expand that further...
when a comment is posted in a card, find the first card linked in attachments and post comment "{commenttext} was posted by @{username} on {date} at {time} "
