Brittany Joiner recently wrote this article for our blog, I thought a quick overview of it here would be useful...
If you want to read the whole thing (and see all the gifs we know she loves) then head here https://www.bluecatreports.com/blog/how-to-get-your-team-to-use-trello/
The problem is this. You get everything set up in Trello, you can see the benefits but then you need to convince your team to start actually using it day-to-day.
Brittany's tips
Highlight the current problems
Why change how you are working now? Highlight the issues people see in the current process and show how Trello might help with those.
Start Small
Don't try to force them to run before they can walk. Brittany talks about how you can get your team to take their first baby steps into using Trello. Try starting with just one process and maybe one team (or even just one other person) to show some success using Trello.
Create good Trello habits
A few good tips to make sure your Trello boards are a pleasure for your team to work with, and give them no reason to complain about your new system. The key is to keep your Trello boards easy to use and clear of distractions.
Give them the tools they need
Help your team get the knowledge they need to start using Trello productively. Brittany has her own courses for this (discount code in the article).
