The Atlassian Community can help you and your team get more value out of Atlassian products and practices.
On Saturday 31st, October 2020. Atlassian User group Gombe hosted the first Trello events at National Library Gombe. The event was open to the public; out of 51 rsvp’d, 34 people were in attendance. During the community, event participants shared their opinions, suggestions, and they are educated on why the Atlassian community was created in Gombe. This will serves as an avenue for new and existing Atlassian users to meet and share their experience and leave feeling fulfilled by their contribution to the community and the people they get to meet.
The Keynote speaker was Muhammad Zubairu, a software engineer and a big Trello enthusiast. Muhammad spoke about Trello and how using Trello makes his life more comfortable as a software engineer. Most of the participants were new to Trello, So they were introduced to it and with some users who served as volunteers. The new users got signed as new users.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to engage in various group activities, including networking, icebreaker sessions, where we played tongue twisters. Those who got the words right were given swags of either label pin or sticker. The event got concluded with a networking and brainstorming session from the participants. We had an exciting event as a start. Almost everyone had a good laugh and walked away learning a thing or two.
