Pros and cons for Data Center Certification

Hello,

I am considering the question of whether I should tackle the data center certifications Managing Jira Projects for Data Center and Jira Administration for Data Center.

I already have the cloud variants and I am familiar with the differences.

Nevertheless, I always like to learn, but the effort for an ACP certification is also not without, So I'm trying to find pros and cons.

Hey @Kai Krause!

I'll give you one for each:

PRO: Depending on the work you do, if you need to find your own clients, they may see the fact that you have the DC certifications as a differentiator over someone else looking for their business.

CON: If you have already earned the Cloud counter part versions, the DC versions won't add anything extra towards earning the designations.  So earning this would simply be to complete your collection of Atlassian Certifications.

My honest opinion.  If you have the Cloud versions the only "REAL" reason to get the DC certifications is because YOU want to get them.
