Hello,

Super excited that Atlassian took the  ACE Designation live last week!

May I ask:

1. What determines the ACE expiration date? I my case, it appears to be 2 years after I achieved the first certification (ACP-620). Is this correct? 

2. How is the ACE Designation renewed? Can I assume that renewing the 4 certifications that granted the ACE Designation will then automatically renew the ACE by 2 years as well?

Hi @Dietmar Doerschlag From the Designations page on Atlassian University.

1. Yes, you are correct.
FAQ: What are the start and end dates for a designation? The designation will be granted on the date that the final required certification is earned. It will expire on the date that the first required certification is suspended (a.k.a. inactive date).

2. Yes, renewing the underlying certifications will also keep the designation active.
