There are many videos from Jira and Confluence training on Youtube, Linkedin etc.
Does Atlassian prohibit creating your own training? Can Atlassian revoke the ACP-100 certificate, for example, if I record my own JQL training for the company where I work?
Are there any restrictions for:
- users
- community leaders
- partners
- certified users?
Can I show a Cloud instance in the video?
Can I show the Server version?
Hi @Kasia Olchawa , I agree that @Ben Thoma from my team will be the best person to answer this, but with respect to any of your Certifications, the circumstances in which we can revoke it are limited to violations of the Candidate Agreement. Atlassian has a lot of latitude here -- we can revoke if you expose exam questions, or attempt to capture exam questions during your exam, or if Atlassian for any reason believes your exam result does not represent your true knowledge.
The only clause that seems relevant to your question is if you 'do anything that negatively affects Atlassian or the reputation of Atlassian'.
It seems like as long as you avoid exposing anything you know about the JQL questions on the exam, and avoid damaging Atlassian's reputation in the training, the terms of the Certification Candidate Agreement would not permit us to revoke your Certification. You might read the agreement here to be assured: https://university.atlassian.com/student/page/850381-certification-policies?sid=37209756

Hi, @Kasia Olchawa !
Great question!
It seems to me that any Jira/Confluence-Administrator is obliged to educate users of his system: it can be meetups, demos, trainings, blog posts and much more.
