So I took the Jira Software Essentials Certification Prep. Can I pass the cert test with that training only, or is the group instructor-led training critical to take?
Hi @Amanda McCauley,
Welcome to the Community!
The Associate level certifications are designed so that you should be able to pass then with the course alone. So you should be fine as long as you feel comfortable that you know the material.
I hope that helps, and good luck with the exam!
Thanks for the quick reply! The course was a breeze to get through. So I shouldn't need the instructor-led course. Thanks again! :)

Hi @Amanda McCauley It's been a long enough since I passed that exam, and I didn't take good notes on my prep... While instructor-led training is a great option for anyone with the budget to cover it, I don't think it's necessary. The prep course should handle most of what you need for the exam and your experience will make up the difference.
If you want to be sure you're set for the exam, I recommend a set of Udemy practice questions. While I haven't used these, they are highly rated: https://www.udemy.com/course/3x-jira-software-essentials-practice-tests-2023-updated/ It's regular price right now but Udemy regularly has sales when the price may be lower, and new users also often have a discount on courses.
