Reaching out for input from anyone who has run the Dependency Mapping Play of the Month. I'd specifically like to hear from those who have a working CMDB that was used as the basis for the Play and anyone with experience in shutting down a company.
Did it help determine Target Start dates for shutting things down in a logical order?
Did you use Jira Plans in conjunction with the provided Play template and/or your CMDB? Any additional insight?
Thank you in advance!
Thank you for your input, @Bill Sheboy ! I agree 100%!
Hi @Laurie Sciutti ,
I think, especially for escaping (or preparing) the headaches, the "Dependency Mapping Template" is really useful. I was already using a similar approach but in the play I found it useful to have that kind of a template.
Similar to that template, I usually have a Jira project for planning (but Jira plans also works) that contains the ups/downs similar to the template. It keeps all the things in order, at least for me.
Thank you for your input, @Salih Tuç !
I haven't used it directly, but I tried it in Plans (Advans Roadmap). The way I wanted it to work was the opposite. So I skip the idea.
