Hi there,
I plan to setup Jira software using the Kanban template to track tasks in a project. If i add the due date and the person does not pull the task from the backlog by the due date, what happens ? I want the tasks to sit there until the engineer is ready to work on the task despite the due date.
Appreciate your guidance
Hello @Aileen Murphy
Nothing will happen if the issues is not pulled from the backlog and the due date passes.
If you wanted something to happen you would need to create an Automation Rule to tell Jira what to do.
