How do you enable emails sent automatically to a user once you create an issue?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Usually, notifications are enabled by default in Jira.

Just for us to better understand and help you, can you please let us know if a user is not receiving notification? If so, what is their role in the ticket (assignee, reporter, watcher)?

Please, give us more details about the issue you are facing and we will gladly help you.
