Will all HipChat platforms (windows, linux deb, linux rpm, os x) be supported?

Will rpm based linux distributions receive official package?

Hi Marek!

currently the following platforms are supported

  • Windows 7 and later
  • Mac 10.10 and later
  • iOS 10 and later
  • Android 5.0 and Later
  • Linux, glibc-2.13+ with KDE, Gnome, and Unity

As for linux packaging, I know we have .deb support, but I'm not sure about rpm.  I'll look into that.

I'd be interested in using Stride "natively" on FreeBSD in our organisation. Is there anybody in Atlassian who'd be interested in working with me to get the client working and provide the community a port?

Hi,

I still only find .deb packages - is the rpm available for OpenSUSE?

Jonathan is right!

Currently, we are internally testing an rpm and when that stabilizes we have plans to create an official package.
