I have two startups.. I co-founded ReleaseTEAM 25 years ago, and Autoducks 3 years ago.
I won't bore you (much) on ReleaseTEAM, we are a DevOps professional services company with a strong Atlassian practice. This is my real day job.
Autoducks is my after-hours job. It's a one-person startup where I buy (and I tell myself sell) classic American cars. I focus on bringing cars back to a safe and fun state, where you can use them. Going to town and getting ice cream is the end goal for each project.
Three times so far :)
@Shawn Doyle - ReleaseTEAM Thanks for sharing! Curious if you also use Atlassian tools for your cool startup to track progress of the cars you are working on ;)
I use Trello. Mainly to embarrass myself on how many projects I need to finish. One of my recent YouTube posts has a brief cameo of my Trello board.
It's great to see you diving into the world of startups. Starting two companies simultaneously is bold, but it can be super exciting! Just make sure you don’t stretch yourself too thin.
It's great to see you diving into the world of startups. Starting two companies simultaneously is bold, but it can be super exciting! Just make sure you don’t stretch yourself too thin. Each startup deserves its attention, especially in those early days. I’ve found that monitoring your annual reporting can help you track your progress and spot any areas needing improvement. It’s like your business's health check-up. Balancing priorities between the two might be tricky, but you can make it work if you're passionate and organized.
