We are evaluating alternatives to the GitHub Windows client for use in our Computing Department - GitHub Windows requires that users have their own individual profiles, but students here have a single mandatory roaming profile.
SourceTree solves one of the problems we had with GitHub - it can be installed for all users on a machine - but the Computing staff who are testing it report that it is not saving repository configurations (i.e., they set up a repository when logged on with a test student account, then when they log off and back on again they are prompted to set it up again).
Where does SourceTree store the repository configurations, and is it possible for us to change this location?
Thanks,
Dan Jackson (Lead ITServices Technician)

To answer your question, config info is stored in:
%appdata%\Local\Atlassian
BUT..We are having the same problem. We use romaing profiles and SourceTree stores config information in %appdata%\Local\Atlassian which does not roam. We are trying to figure out a way so that we can use it with our students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, but so far we are stuck.
