Hi here,
I'm having this issue when installing Source Tree.
The License agreement goes well but when it comes to Register my Account with the Atlassian account I get this issue:
How can I get this to work properly?
Thank you
Hi Franz! Can you confirm which version of Internet Explorer are you using? Please make sure IE is updated to the last version, as Sourcetree relies on it for authentication. Can you also try to go to my.atlassian.com directly from the browser? Do you encounter any issue?
Have you checked the logs to see if there's some error message there? You can find it at
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\sourcetree.log
Lastly, if you're still having issues, please let us know which Sourcetree version are you using and we'll be happy to continue helping you.
Kind regards!
Ana
Hi Ana, thank you for your answer!
I'm using Internet Explorer version 11.431.16299.0 and opening my.atlassian.com url doesn't work: it sends a popup that says 'Unable to open the search page.'
I tried to install SourceTree version 2.5.5 and I have few logs from last year when I first tried to install this.
These are the logs:

What do I do next?
Thank you

Hi Franz, the fact that opening my.atlassian.com directly from Internet Explorer doesn't work points that this might be an issue with IE itself. For troubleshooting purposes, can you try using any other browser (like Google Chrome for example) and try to access my.atlassian.com
If it works, then it will confirm the issue is with IE. I've done some research and it's recommended to do a health check in search for some malware, virus, etc... you can find more info at Microsoft Internet Explorer Unable to open the search.
Let us know if that helps!
Cheers,
Ana
